what are the bad points about wearing bifocals?

Some bifocals have a visible line between the two lenses, which can be annoying.
It takes time to get used to wearing them and moving your head and eyes so that you see through the correct lenes.

The only bad points would be cosmetic. In other words, you might not like how they look, but at least you'll be able to see properly.
If you have the lined bifocal there is that demarcation where the two lenses come together and it always lands where I am looking, then I have to tilt my head back. Looks funny
