A man and a woman get tested and are STD-free. Is it possible to have unprotected sex and be disease free?
Question:
Answers:
If you or your partner were sexually active with anyone else at any time in your life, the answer is NO!
Disease can show up years later, it doesn't have to show up in the test now. AIDS can show up later, HPV can show up later- even if they are not showing up in the tests now. In fact doctors say by age 50, at least 80% of women will have acquired genital HPV infection. I'm sure there are others that can show up later too. HPV infections can cause abnormal Pap tests in woman & also lead to cancer of the cervix, vulva, vagina, ****, or penis.
The best & only thing to do is save yourself & then have a strictly monogamous relationship.
Other Answers:
yes if you dont have other partners!
Disease is not created during unprotected sex, disease already exist, promiscuity is what spread it..so, yes u are safe as long as u are monogamous.
Remember that STD test often not includes the HIV Test too !! Once you both know that the tests are free, then we could have any sex you prefer and for ever, unless one of you two doesn't become sick or contract a sexual illness thro other different intercourses!
It is possible, but bear in mind that it takes time for an STD to show up on a test, so you could still be at risk. The place where you got your test will be able to fill you in on the facts. You can minimize risk by not engaging in any sexual behavior for a long period before you get the test, but if you both take the test immediately after engaging in risky behavior (i.e. other partners) then the test becomes less accurate.
