When I lose weight, where do the pounds go? Does the planet become lighter?

Question:

Answers:
no, the planet does not become lighter. everything is energy. the weight you lose is energy stored in your body and when you lose the weight that energy is released throught the exercise (presumably) that you did to lose it. this stored energy is just converted into kinetic energy but that does not make the planet lighter per se. you can look at it like when a car is driving and it burns up a tank of gas. the planet is not lighter it is just that the gas was converted into other forms of energy.

Other Answers:
U burn them, they become CO2 and H2O..

U were never a weight/Burden on this earth. so there is no Question of making it lighter by loosing few founds.

Whoa, that is an interesting question.I guess the planet does become lighter.

It becomes burned energy. The second question is an interesting one to ponder, yes maybe but you have to factor in all the new babies if you go to that extent to figure the earth's weight it could be a net gain if that is factored in
