Gaining Weight?

Question:
Any suggestions, I'm 6ft and 140lbs, fairly skinny and I'd like to bulk up (without suppliments) to gain muscle easier.

Answers:
Hate to disagree but the best way to build muscles is through balanced diet with more carbohydrates AND lots of protein. That is if youre trying to "bulk" up as stated.
Nuts, cheese and yes I agree with the other poster about carbohydrates, however, I would maintain these with complex carbohydrates such as grains, nuts, whole wheat pasta and rice and vegetables.
To gain one pound, one must eat 3500 calories MORE than what is required to maintain their weight. You can find out more at www.caloriesperhour.com. It has great free tools on building or losing weight.

Good luck to you

Other Answers:
Basically its all down to taking in energy which is done by eating carbohydrates mainly found in potato and wheat etc.so you eat x amount of potato through out the day and make sure you work out 3-5 times a week then you should see the improvements. don't alter your diet in any other way..eating healthy is the key to good health.
