The children of today are allowed to not have responsibility (unless they were raised by MY parents). So if little JOhnny says Todd played ball in the house and knocked over the lamp, most consider it cute. Not my parents, I would get two beatings, one for Todd and one for Johnny, then Dad would ask if anyone else has something to say. Wow! I just realized it is a really good thing I did not have multiple personalities, or I would've never made it to adulthood! Mom gave the worse punishment, of nose to the corner for however long she liked.
Anyway, adults are suppose to be always accepting responsibility for their actions. As a family motto states, "You are what you own".

Adults should't piss or crap their pants, beat eachother up over toys, cry when they don't get their way, make motor noises with their mouth when they drive, breast feed in public and lots of other stuff too.

Because adults are afraid of things they don't understand that includes other people and their personalities.
How do you know when a child has multiple personalities? How could you diagnose them when they aren't fully developed? There would have to have been some trauma in order to create the other personalities.
Kids do have multiple personalities because they are kids. Do you know or do you have kids that have been diagnosed as having multiple personalities? That's a whole different story and is definitely "not cute"! A kid being a normal kid will seem like 10 different kids all in one day.

I would have to say b/c kids talk to themselves anyway, imaginary friends and all so it is "ok" but adults are supposed to be able to express themselves without going "crazy" first.
