well, u can use deep conditioning lotion. water doesn't help; it tends to dry skin out. i don't know where u live, but often it's just dry n cold in the winter and there's not much u can do; just use lotion twice a day or w/e. like I said, avoid water. that's about all the advice I really have..

i would suggest finding a salon near you that offers a parrifan wax dip. it penitrates the second layer of skin and traps the moisture there. also use heavy creams before bed with gloves. if you find any place that does the pariffin i'd do it atleast once a week until your hands heal.
