Why am I losing upper body strength?

Question:
I am 39. In great shape for my height/weight. I am 5'8 and weigh 130. I run or do tae-bo 5 days a week. However, I have noticed in the last year that I am losing upper body strenght and don't have the stamina to do things I used to (carry heave objects, push mow..anything requiring my arms). It exhausts me to work out with 2 pound weights. Should I stay at it? Rest?

Answers:
Try lifting weights. I'm 5'8", and I wrestled at 132 in high school. Now I'm 38. A few years ago I could bench 275 for reps, squat 325 for reps, etc. But then again I weigh a little more than you.

edit: Oops. Disregard this post. For some reason I thought you were a small guy.
