How can marijuana effect my period?

Question:
I have smoked pot for over 10 years and I have smoked every day for about the last 2 years. I finally stopped smoking about a week ago. I started my period yesterday then it stopped today. My periods have always been regular since I have started. I don't think I am pregnant. I took a test this morning and it was negative. I was just curious if anyone was familiar with the what the effects of not smoking pot for a week would have on my body? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answers:
It's probably a stress reaction from the change. It's pretty amazing how easy it is to stop, though isn't it? I wouldn't worry about it too much. Don't listen to ignorant alarmists that will of course tell you to go to the ER because you are dying because you touched pot.

Other Answers:
It wont effect your body at all. I just stopped smoking weed and it is only a mental addiction, there isnt anything to do with your body. It is probly just stress from quiting

I smoked once on my period, and it stopped my cramps.
