has anyone ever woke up and you know you were awake but you couldn't move open your eyes or talk?

Question: i woke up the other day, i couldnt move or open my eyes or a matter of fact talk either. what was happening to me? if it happend to you, what was going on?

this has happened to me on occasion. I have been able to open my eyes though I think. It has been a while since I've had this occur. I think that it has to do with what you are dreaming about at the time. You may not remember the dream,but I specifically remember wanting to scream and not being able to.
