can it be helped?

Question:
can ppl actually grow taller if they jump and stretch alot?

Answers:
In theory, it's actually the reverse.it will make you shorter. Let me explain how it works.

When you jump and stretch (some muscle groups), compressive forces act on your spine and intervertebral disks. Some of the forces are vertical, some are interdiagonal. Your disks are collagen packets filled with water. As you jump and stretch (specific muscles) you decrease the amount of water inside the disks part of which help make up the height of your torso. Throughout the course of the day this happens naturally anyway, however physical activity such as those activities mentioned can accerlate the process. As you sleep and rest, the water is then reabsorbed. That's why people are typically up to 0.5 inches taller in the morning.

NO

No. That's ridiculous.

yea, a little bit. i try it before,

Absolutely, not!! Where did you hear that anyway??

because of stretching ,their posture becomes more straight which gives the appearance of gained height.

ya

it HELPS. it's not like a growth medicine or anything. any person who partakes on any type of physical activity is more prone to grow then someone who sits and does nothing. it depends on the person and the age. if someone's forty, chances are they probably won't be doing much growing, no matter how much physical activity they do
.

umm Nope, nice try

I don't think so.

Yes.. if you break both your legs and re-set them to heal, new bone forms, making you slightly taller in many cases. There are also surguries where your bones are broken in just this way and re -set many times with large metal rods to support. It works, but it costs millions to do, and only adds a couple inches.

On the other hand, I've got these great pills..just send $19.95 to internet scam, care of.. lol hehehe

Around the time of puberty we stop growing..

no
