I have TWO alarm clocks, both set to loud, about 5 feet from my bed, yet I still never hear them. WhatCanIDo?

Question:
I guess the only details would be that I'm not much affected whether I get 3 or 6 or 9 hours of sleep, I'm just simply oblivious to the sound of the alarm clockS going off.

Answers:
ask someone at home who is "allergitic" to alarm sounds to use your clocks and wake u up at that time. if you dont find any one, the best way is to try different irritating sounds of alarms or a talking alarm..

Drink three pints of water before you go to bed around 11pm. You will either piss the bed, and wake yourself up, or the pain in your bladder will get you up. Works for me.

buy a third one dude or hire someone to wake u up. lol

Get that wax cleaned out of your ears..

clean the ears

Go to bed earlier.

You can buy alarm clocks for the deaf, What those clocks do different, is it will shine a bright light on your face. That should wake you up. Try something like that.

Have you tried waking up to music or the radio. Sometimes the monotonous ringing doesn't do it for me either, but the un-predictability of radio and music helps.

Also I know this sounds mad, but I find that if I bang my head against something like 7 times (if I want to get up at 7) this helps!?!? This works most effectively when I know what the time is when I go to bed. I still need alarms but it wakes me up enough to hear them.

change the alarm clocks.u might be a custom to one sound.

Dont sleep in your girl friend's house.

I've no idea what you can do, just wish I could sleep that good!

Most alarm clocks are digital these days.if yours fall into these category, why not try an Analog traditional winding alarm clock, may be will do the trick :)

Set the alarm on your cell phone and put it by the bed. That thing is loud

get ur ears cleaned & buy an alarm clock that will hammer ur head when u dont wake up.. lol
