The actual piercing was painless. The healing? OUCH!! I was sooo black & blue. That lasted about 2 weeks. Wearing jeans was out of the question.

I have a friend with a peirced belly button and she said it REALLY hurt and it can get infected really easily. if I were u I wouldn't get mine peirced, but good luck if u do. :)
the piercing part doesnt hurt at all. they draw a little dot on you to make sure its in the right place, clamp the skin so they can hold it out, pierce it and put the ring through. doesnt hurt. after i had mine done it felt like i had been doing crunches for days though, and you cant sleep on your stomach for a while. be sure to clean it well and soak it with epsom salt EVERYDAY! that is very VERY important. and dont get it caught on anything cause if it gets pulled, that DOES hurt.

Some of my friends got their bellt button pierced and they said it didn't hurt at all!It doesn't get infected, if you clean it like once a week!
It doesn't hurt I have my belly button pierced and I pierce other peoples belly buttons and it dont seem to hurt them and it certainly didnt hurt me and I did it myself.
This depends on how muscular your stomach is, if you have a flat stomach it will hurt a lot because they are piercing muscle not fat and you have to be really really careful that it doesn't get infected!
It hurts like a beezy! But I think it was worth it. Make sure you follow all instructions on cleaning and caring for it.
omg you sissys I had my belly button pierced twice the first time it didnt hurt it was a little discomfort when they clamped my skin but the needle didnt hurt. And I wasnt able to do my crunches and I was able to sleep on my stomach. Then I lost the bottom ball while I was at work so I took it out and it healed and I had it re-pierced and the second time it hurt because I had scar tissue but it didn't hurt to the point where I was going to cry but I get cramps more painful than a belly piercing. But it depends on ones pain tolerance. Have a friend pinch the top part of your belly button and but have them grab some of the fat and not just the skin if you can deal with take you can have your belly pierced without much discomfort

I got mine pierced and feels O'K, it monivates me to be in shape all the time.
It really doesn't hurt when they are doing it. Just remember to breath. The girl that did mine was great because she had me focus on my breathing and she did it when I was breathing in. I didn't feel a thing. About 5 mintues later it hurt and was a bleeding a little. Mine did get infected-most people I know that has happened to-so make sure to keep it clean it takes quite awhile to heal completly.
