im 13 and 165lbs i have fat pecs and a big stomach how can i get rid of it please help it very embarassing?

go on a diet, eat special k cereal twice a day do not add sugar , fruits, vegetables, no snacks, powerades,gatorades, water, orange juice, chicken breast broiled, noodles, salads, fruit salads, granola bars, exercise one hour a day, eat corn, drink low fat milk, drink no juice, drink lots of tea, and go out and play sports for two hours aday, guarantee you'll lose seven pounds every two weeks, NO fast or fried foods!!

I'm sorry to hear that you're getting teased about your size. If you want to slim down, you are going to have to be more physically active. Try walking around the neighborhood at first, then start jogging, and then eventually start playing sports. Sports is fun and you won't think you're exercising while doing it.

You also have to watch what you eat. Don't eat snacks, junk food, and fast food. It's not healthy, and although it may taste good or it's easy to obtain, you're not getting any benefit from it because the ingredients to make those foods aren't good for you. Next time you eat a bag of chips, take a look at the nutritional label.you're going to see that 15 chips equals like 200 calories.and i bet you (like most of us) finish off the whole bag of chips when you eat them.

Bottom line, change your lifestyle. Don't stay at home and play video games or watch tv. Get yourself outside and start doing exercises. And eat better while watching your portions too.

I know how you feel. eat alot of veggies. you can eat as many of them as you want. and when you're not picky its easier cause that means you're willing to try new things. when you are tempted to eat all those good things that the other kids eat.. remember all that stuff will always be here but you and I may not be here if we keep eating the way we do. trust me I know. I have been heavy all my life and now im on a diet and trying to get rid of all of it. now is a good time to get rid of it cause you are young it will come off alot easier. when i was 13 i weighed 155. i know what ur talking about. you can eat veggies raw or cooked just make sure you eat more of that than anything. you can go for a walk once a day if your life style lets you. even for 10 minutes. and i will say water is the key to it all. if you can drink at least 80 OZ a day you will be ok. it will clean everything out. you should lose about 5 to 10 pounds just on that alone. dont be afraid. you have to want to lose this weight now before you get older. cause if you carry it with you into ur later yrs it will be harder to lose. i promise you. talk to your doctor about whats best for you. remember you are the most important person in your life.. cause if you dont care about you, you cant care about anyone else.good luck

Move more, eat less. It's going to take time though. Find out how many calories you need a day from your doctor and get those calories by eating the most nutrious food. Exercise daily.

Look, man. You're 13 and you're a guy. your metabolism is still pretty stable and speedy (teens, especially teen males have a very fast metabolism). Forget a diet. The key to having an athletic body and being fit is playing sports. Since you're overweight now you need a to kickstart your metabolism. Buy some weights, get a gym membership and go everyday, join a sports team at your school (I reccommend Basketball, Swimming, or Tennis but anything with alot of running and moving is good. Football is good too but you might be encouraged to keep you weight on there because of the D and O line positions). Keep moving and LIFT WEIGHTS. Most people underrate the importance of lifting weights in weight loss but larger muscles and muscle growth means more calories and fat being burned not only when you're working out but 24/7 (since your body uses more calories to support the new muscles). Basically eat what you want but NOT TOO MUCH. you dont really need a specific diet but don't eat too much. I'm not really sure how to explain how much is too much, I guess the next guy can specify that but these are the guidelines that work for me and they should work for everyone if followed correctly.
