why does it feel so good when you scratch an itch?

Question:

Answers:
i think there is some chemical reason, endorphins released or some such. but im not sure what. maybe because youre scratching off all the dead skin cells that are causing irritation, therefore making a new fresh layer? really im not sure. but yeah it really does.

Other Answers:
because ur brain receptors relieve the pain, but only momentarily. Then ur brain sends pain directly back into the spot because something is irritating the skin. Look into it!

lol,

That's a silly question. I guess you would if you had chiggers or flea bites on your body. I suppose your going to have to watch out where your going.

Oh, I've been wondering that for a long time. I really don't know, but the back seems to be my most satisfied area, when I itch..YUM!!
