What am I supose to do if I have an ANOREXIC 18 y.o. daughter. How am I supose to behave from now on?

Question:
So, like I said, my daughter is 18 and she has anorexia, the bulimic type. Because of this, at home, in my family, I offen argueing with her and my wife and we are in this moment in a major crisis. The doctors don't seem to know much about the disease, or they don't tell us yet how we must behave in order to see her healthy again.
I'm from Romania. If someone, from a place where this desease is frequent, can help me to understand what is to be done, please help me! Adi

Answers:
I would act normally around her concerning this self inflicted disease, she already is in a confused mental state so love and trust would be my sustenance for her.
She needs to see a doctor as soon as possible and the medical authourities will help her BUT she has to want to be helped.

Other Answers:
she needs to get psychological help before she can over come the disordered eatting. take her to a psychologist. Having someone to listen will eventually help her work through it but it will never 100% go away. it is a struggle that a person with this problem has to handle for the rest of their lives. be supportive, tell her you love her no matter what and that you are there for her. don't yell at her or ciritize it will only make things worse. good luck

Go to the links below, both are the same site, it is NEDA, national eating disorders association, this is for the United States, but I think it will help.

hi there.. your daughter needs ur support right now. its good that you have found it out earlier.. they become anorexic because they think than being thin is beautiful. trust me i became like that 8 years ago.
support her by telling her that she's beautiful and lovley for what she is.. that worked for me. dont get mad to her or anything negative.. all she needs is love and to know that she is loved..
