Has anyone ever had "Plantar Fascitis" (Heel Spurs) and what did you do to heal them, please help.

Question:
This is extremely painful and I need to be on my feet alot for work. Please submit serious replys only, and thanks in advance.

Answers:
I went to an excellent podiatrist who gave me small amounts of cortisone in the heel of my foot. I then kept wearing orthotics and use them religiously. I do not wear high heels or go on beach sand. If I follow the rules the awful burn, shooting pain and the feeling of walking on hot coals will be completely gone. Plantar Fascitis is the stretching of the tendon from the heel to the ball of the foot (Arch of the foot). The spur comes from the tendon pulling at the heel. That is why you can't stretch your foot. If you need more info, please feel free to e-mail me. I was so frightened when I had this condition and tried orthopedic surgeons and cortisone specialists, but, this one podiatrist cured my problem without surgery. Di P.S. I just read what the person before me put and although the Dr. said the shot would be hot it was NOTHING compared to the foot burn especially first thing in the morning.

Other Answers:
think the only way is to have the spur removed via operation

It can be corrected naturally with glyco nutrients. It helps the body produce stem cells that repair the damage.

My husband has them and he had to go to the podiatrist and had an xray done, given anti-inflammatory pills and stay off your feet.

Inflamination of the planter facia,a thin membrane betweenmuscle groups in feet .

yes, i had that for over 6 months. i ended up having to get orthotics for my shoes. very, very expensive..but if you have insurance, it hardly costs you much, if anything at all. they didn't, that's DID NOT help me. i had to get a shot of cortizone. oh my god, it hurt like hell, but after that it's been a few weeks now, and i hardly ever feel pain again. i can wear sandles & boots. and, i do not have to hop on my tiptoes when i get out of bed in the morning. but, the shot DOES hurt. ask for the shot of cortizone & you'll see that you will feel 100 times better!! trust me!
