I'm 5'7", i had the same problem when i was younger, no self confidence , because most of the girls were taller than me. I could not ask them out or even talk to them knowing i will be to short for them.
So one day i decided to do something about it. I went and bought myself a pair of 5" platform shoes.. ( by the way, this was in 1975, this was the year for fashion LOL..)anyway
it was sat night i was getting ready to go to the disco, i wore my flying nun collard shirt, my 16"flared trousers, and my new 5" platform shoes, my flares would cover most of my shoes so knowone would notice them. Anyway i went to meet my mates outside the disco, i got off the bus and i started to walk towards the disco. I felt great walking 6' tall, i could see all these people lining up waiting to go in, and just as i crossed the road i must of stepped on a large stone or something, and my ankle gave way and ended up flat on the floor with my flares up to my knees and my shoes exposed for everyone to see. All i can remember is everyone p.ing them selfs with laughter, my mates, and all the girls standing there, i never lived it down.
After i binned the shoes i decided to approach it in a different way, instead of trying to be the tall guy i might as well be the funny short guy and just make the girls laugh. With that sense of humour i dated a few tall girls.

Honestly, there's nothing wrong with dating a guy thats shorter than you. BUT their height should fit their character. If they're all like, "Im a PIMP! Im tough and will kick anyone's butt!" then it might become a little annoying after a while! But it also depends on what you want. Like me, I like tall guys because I feel safe with them hovering over me! AND if the guy is hot, height doesnt matter either. and I heard shorter men are better in bed!!
Lastly, since you're an attractive person, you really shouldn't care about your height!;D

Improve on your confidence. That will get you any woman and height wont matter. When you approach a woman just do it. Don't put up the blocker by concentrating on your height.
