Help! I can't gain any weight!?

Question:
I've been working out consistently three times a week and I've been eating the right amount of protein and carbs (probably even a little too much). I've been doing weight gainer shakes, too. I gained about 8 pounds of solid muscle in the first 6 weeks, but can't gain anything now (the last six weeks). I would like to keep the same exercise routine, but don't think it's working anymore. I'm keeping my cardio to a minimum to keep from burning the little bit of body fat I have.

What works when you hit a wall like this?

Answers:
It depends on the type of load / reps you´re training. You do have about the right amount of days per week, but if you want to gain weight you must make sure you allow at least one day for each muscle group.

As for loads. If you´re doing anything over 12 reps per series, you´re not working on the right direction to gain mass. You should be looking at 8 or even 4 reps (with a load that is accordingly). It might no be the best for well being on the long run, but you´ll gain mass.

EAT LIKE YOUR A PIG!! thats what i had to do..it worked for me..

talk to your doctor/nutritionist

lol your trying to be fat? buy a few douzen krispy kreams and eat em in a day, or if u wanted mucle weight i'd do like tons of sit ups and push ups, old fashoined work out. also eat high protein smoothies.

Foods like peanuts, almonds, avacados, have nutrition, fat, and they are good brain food too.

You can add olives, raisins, and nuts to many foods to kick up the calorie intake.

You can also eat at night (modest meal) an hour before bedtime.

And spend an hour a day at the computer.lol.really at least.

Lift more weights muscle weights more than fat.the secret to losing weight is eating less carbs than 2000 so eat more carbs and youll gain weight
