I think I have diabetes but I don't know how to ask my parents to get me tested for it.?

If you think you have a problem you should tell your parents that what their there for to help you diabetes is serious business it nothing to play with. If you don't address this you can end up in the hospital. It happen to me I didn't know that I had Diabetes so I eat ever thing the I want and my blood & sugar level went up to 1225 which put me in the hospital. Dont let this happen to you. I also suggest that you use some multivitamin to help you with diabetes.

Diabetes is nothing to fool around with. You Need to go have a test run it is called HGBA1C only your Dr. can order this test. When your sugar is high you are messing with all your body parts. If you are already taking meds, does your parents not already know. If not where did you get tested, and where did you get the meds. If you know, tell your parents where you were tested,what your blood glucose level was and how concerned you are, if your parents love you as I'm sure they do they will help you with what ever you need.

You're taking metaformin? Then you're being treated for diabetes and are a diabetic. I agree with the school nurse suggestion. Perhaps you need a change in your meds. Do it NOW!

I think you just need to TELL them you need to see the doctor. This is your health take care of it.Good luck!
if you think theres a problem, by all means tell someone. go to the doctor and get a full check up. diabetes can kill you, if its not controlled.
Some people can improve their diabetes.
And there are people who have dramatically improved their diabetes.
