Chlamydia without sex?

Question:
I am pregnant, and my Dr. said that I have Chlamydia. My husband has been gone for 5 months to Iraq; I haven't had any sexual contact with anyone, no kissing, nothing. My husband does not have it. How did I get this disease? Is it possible the Dr is wrong? Are there other diseases that cause the Chlamydia test to be postive?

Answers:
dr has to be wrong cause the only way to get it is thru sex and anything that has to do with sex

Other Answers:
THE DR. COULD BE WRONG OR YOU HUSBAND LIED TO YOU?! YOU CAN HAVE STD's AND NOT know for a long time. some people show signs earier than others but lets just hope the doctor made a mistake =)

get another test done. I am pretty sure you can only get get chlamydia from sex. if you the test does come back positive, then your husband does have it too.

First get another test done, if it is positive than your husband lied to you you could have been infected before your husband went to iraq

Chlamydia trachomatis is a bacterium that can cause a sexually transmitted infection (STI). Chlamydia infection is very common among young adults and teenagers. However, many people do not know that they have chlamydia, because although they are infected, they may not have any symptoms. About 75% of infected women and half of infected men have no symptoms of chlamydia.
