My earring hole has a reddish ring surrounding it and it stings, too. Is this a specific ear infection?

Question:
And how do I get rid of it? Peroxide isn't exactly doing the job.

Answers:
stop wearing your earrings in that ear because you might have bought some kind of earring that is not the hypo allergenic kind.. look for those kind.. that way you will be sure not to be allergic to anything in the metal the makers use.. and keep up the peroxide, maybe try alcohol (even tho it will burn).. maybe some neosporin also might help

Other Answers:
Go to the Dr.

yep, it is. try peroxide and an antibiotic cream. if it doesn't go away in a couple days, you'll have to see a doctor.
