I have a red swollen bump, what the hell is it?

I would definitely have it checked by a doctor. I'm sorry to hear that you are hurting & what you have described is pretty painful. I know how you are feeling b/c I get bumps (lesions) like this all the time and not just on my thighs.
Here's what I try on the lesions I get in that area:
1. Warm compresses to try to draw whatever is on the inside to the top.
2. Soaking in the bathtub helps, too . But given where you are located that might be difficult for you.
3. If you can get some TEA TREE OIL, dab a little (not a lot ~ just a little bit) on the lesion itself with a cotton ball or Q-Tip. This stuff smells really nasty, but should help to dry the lesion up pretty quickly.
Is this the first time you have ever had one of these bumps come up? If so, you could have a boil or a cyst. I would definitely have it checked out by a medical professional . But, if you get these things on a recurrent basis, you could have what I live with on a daily basis.
I have a skin disease called Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS, for short). One of the characteristics are boil-like lesions that appear in any of the following areas:
Thighs
Groin area
Buttocks
Breasts
Underarms
The boils/lesions that I get are recurrent, appear in all of the locations noted above (not all at the same time, but I've had them everywhere), and, when cultured, contain no bacterial growth rendering antibiotics useless. There is no specific treatment for my disease ~ just treating the lesions as they appear.
I am putting a couple of links to a few sites to check out. They might be able to give you more information about whether this is a boil or something else.
Hope you are feeling better soon!
Thanks for being over there & hurry home safely .

You may have a boil.. If you can get your hands on some kind of black salve it may help. Its black and smells like tar, but they do spread if it is a boil so try that. Hope you come home soon, thank you for being there
it is a boil most likely. you get it from man on man sex.get a needle and stab it
those camel spider bites are bad man.go to the doctor quick.the spider lays eggs in you then when the eggs hatch they eat the host.i have heard of camels stomach falling open because of those pesky baby spiders eating their way out.god bless you and hope you survive.
maybe you got bit by some kind of a spider or something there that you dont have where you first came from, or i could have first started out as a bug bite and maybe it got infected? i would go see a doctor about it to make sure what it is and what you can do to help it.
sounds to me like you need to see a doctor it could be a cyst or it could be just about any thing. Perhaps the doctor will tell you that you need to go home heh heh
it is a bug bite. Do not squeeze it because it will just absorb back into you blood stream. if you have baking soda make a thin paste with water and apply it to the infected area this will draw the infection out. once you do that wash with soap and water pat dry and leave it alone.

any product with salt will do (make a paste)
probably a sist
I think it's a cyst. I've seen that happen before when the area involved gets too warm and is not the cleanest condition. (Sweat, mostly.) What you want to try is putting on a warm, moist compress three times a day. This will soothe the area of it's infection, and raise the contents. Most likely, it will burst. It will be gross and a bit painful, but after that happens, it can start to heal and will be less and less painful throughout the day. Keep it clean and change your outfit regularly. Give it was much air as possible. Feel better.
