My daughter has not been growing like the doctor thinks she should we are seeing a specialist this week .?

Question:
does anyone know what kind of tests will be involved? I know there is some growth hormone theraphies but im not sure what this involves. She is almost 13 but looks like she is about 9. I think she is just petite but I want to have it checked out. We have had some lab work and bone size xrays.

Answers:
Try not to place too much importance on what your doctor advised you. Your doctor should have already told you what tests would be carried out. Your intuition tells you that your daughter is petite, so what she looks 9yrs old. My daughter is 18yrs and she looks like she is 15, and behaves like it. I have always told her not too grow up too quickly. Stay away from any growth hormones and especially soy and any product that contains soy, lecithin, and emulsifiers. Look up www.doctorsaredangerous.com and make your own imformed choice. If you need to get a second, thrid opinion, get them, however I believe you are on the right track. We can't all be giants!

maybe it runs in the family. check if any of your relatives has the same problem.. I personally think there's nothing wrong. 1m 14 and some of my classmates are small so they look like 10, its just normal in my perspective

to much stress at home or in her life could do it
