well why don't you try going to a specialist that is an expert in agoraphobia. I hope that you are not taking meds with out treatment. Anyways ,the best cure is always moving forward, one step at a time and ask yourself why am I this way , go back to the reason and reevaluate the reason for the fear.
I have a phobia. Meds can help but combined with therapy is the way to go. Basically you learn to change your irrational beliefs. You also learn about the physical sensations that reinforce your fear. Like your heart racing, sweating, and dizziness. Your general strategy is: Exposure to your fear. correcting perceptions and finally over coming fear sensations that happen in response to you phobic situation. Did you or do you have panic attacks? Your phobia is under the category of specific phobia. Agoraphobia is typically associated with panic attacks that are not triggered by any specific situation or object but tend to occur out of no where. Most times the biggest worry with your phobia is having a panic attack. If you would like to e-mail me i can give you more information.
