I think it is highly recommended. Smoking is good for you.

Sure, its your life.

Stop smoking, dude

I don't think that's a very good idea. Bad lungs and bad heart don't mix.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. is that clear?

I wouldn't, it's risky. Smoking raises the risk significantly for heart disease & heart problems--- and a pacemaker is already evidence that a serious heart problem exists!

depends on what you're smoking! Smoking pot causes my heart to feel like it's going to beat right out of my chest (when I'm baked) so It's probably not recomended, but I don't know about cigarettes because I don't smoke them.

it is kinda against the whole point of getting a pacemaker to continue to smoke, but if you must, then yes, you can.

It's a real good idea, after all, evolution must go on, and you are going to be removed from the gene pool. Dumbass.

TO HELP YA SLOW DOWN TO QUIT

you should not smoke under any conditions but especially if you have a heart condition! Smarten up! Kick that nasty habit and live longer and healthier.I quit 15 years ago and I have not been sick since.

Why do you want to? Smoking helps to cause heart conditions. Try to stop smoking whether or not it affects the pacemaker.

I can think of no reason smoking will have any effect on your pacemaker. I would think it will continue to put out the same strength impulses, regardless. Of course, you heart will notice the difference when you smoke. I'm sure you know smoking causes the blood vessels to constrict which means increased pressure for the heart to pump against. Doing this even occasionally will not benefit the heart.

You should not be able to feel your pacemaker when it is or is not working. Notice, I said pacemaker. If you have an ICD, I understand these are felt when they are doing their job. Folks that have an ICD frequently post messages here about how they feel the shocks from their ICD.

wtf is your problem dude? don't smoke~!~!~! ur gonna get ur self killed.

Yes, you can, it's your life and your choice; however, be ready to accept the consequences and I don't believe these will be pleasant.

Yes, my mother in-law has one and smokes like a chimminy. Of course, you know it's not good.
