i just got 4 teeth pulled and braces.. how long will it hurt for??
i'm 19 and I Just got braces (AGAIN!) and 4 teeth pulled. I can eat, but very slowly. How long will it hurt for? It's only when my teeth touch each other. And how long will it be until I get used to all of this!??

well i had braces for a year and it SUCKED! but it hurt for 4 days. what i did was took and asprin every day. i would say eat soup and mash potatos. hot things helped me. but every time you go to grt the adjusted
just take an asprin AND THAT WILL HELP ALOT!

Everyone is different in regards to pain endurance and duration. Generally speaking, I would say a week. I would NOT use a topic nunmbing agent around the sockets where the teeth were removed. This could cause infection. Rinse your mouth with salt water for the 1st few days, til the blood seepage stops. THEN, you can gently use a numbing agent, if you are still having discomfort. OKAY, I AM 25 AND JUST GOT BRACES MYSELF. THE FIRST COUPLE OF DAYS ARE HORRIBLE, I CAN'T LIE TO YOU. I PROMISE YOU IF YOU CAN JUST GET THROUGH THE FIRST WEEK, YOU WILL BE JUST FINE. i feel the pain you feel. i have braces right now. and im not around your age either..(not any older) but yeah braces are gonna suck like heck for you. the first week and MAYBE a couple days it'll hurt like heck and you wont really be able to eat anything hard that requires alot of chewing and simple things like hamburgers.the teeth pulling..not a problem.it'll just be weird to eat on the missing part. the braces however.you're just gonna have to get used to it now..i mean come on you already had thm..dont you know what happpens? or did you forget? well if you forgot.yes they hurt like hell..then you're gonna have to get used to the poking of the cheeks from the wires and all the tightening. Having your four teeth pulled, it would take 2 to 3 days. I didn't have my teeth pulled (all four of them) at the same day. I had to come back another week to do it.For Braces:
It would take two to three days to get used to it. When I had braces, it hurts a lot because the orthro tightened my wires of both teeth.
It will depend on your othro when are you going to have your braces off. It will take two years to have your braces on.
