Im 22 and I have the same situation. I know why im losing mine though. I always put my hair in a ponytail which pulls on the front part of my hair. Through the years I think i just damaged it to the point where it is growing back less. I still have the tiny hairs that grow back and then frizz up which annoying but i'd talk to a stylist. Im about to myself. I've been trying to keep my hair down more but with my job putting it up is the best way to keep it out of my face.
My balding spot is about the size of a nickle or so and its just at the tip of my hair line (where most would have a widows peek). Another thing would be if you die your hair alot that causes slowing of regrowth.
