What is the best over the counter medicine for sinus headaches?

Question:
I have chronic sinus headaches and I am on lots of Rxs for allergies/sinus but they do not help the headaches.

Answers:
I have chronic sinus problems and the only thing that helps me is to do as saline rinse a minimum of once a day. (OTC and prescriptions tend to dry me out so much I get really bad bloody noses…so I avoid them.)

If you are having a lot of problems, there's a product called Alkalol. Here’s what it looks like: http://www.westburyonline.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=19299&HS=1

If you go to a Target pharmacy (or even some of the larger grocery stores) they sell it. Many times they keep it behind the counter so you just have to ask the pharmacist for it.

I use this only occasionally because it does pack a wallop. Nothing painful but it certainly does clear you out!!

Other Answers:
try tylonol sinus-or EVEN BAYER asprin

Don't use any over the counter sinus medications until you have checked with your doctor or pharmacist. Many prescription sinus/allergy medications have the exact same medication in them as the over the counter versions.
You could unintentionally take too much of an ingredient and have a problem.
