does anybody have a fatty tumor that hurts all the time i have one and it hurts all the time and the doctor said that it was normal is it normal for a fatty tumor to hurt all the time

They misdiagnosed and left my tumour for 7 years. finally I got a second opinion and they took it out. it was something nastier than they ever imagined.

A fatty tumor, a lipoma, is usually nothing to worry about. However, since this one seems to bother you, see another doctor for a second opinion. Regardless of what the second opinion is, if it bothers you, you do have the right to request that it be removed so feel free to do so. Be sure to tell the doctor that it "hurts all the time". Removing it should put an end to the pain. Also, everything removed must go to the lab for a diagnosis so you would know for sure if it was something different.Source(s):

You didn't give many details did he do a biopsy or how did he determine it is a fatty tumor..you need to educate yourself and perhaps get a second opinion..its your life and you have a right to a definite answer that satisfies what you think.you know your body better then anyone.
