How I can strengthen my Arm Muscles?

Question:

Answers:
While you want to do some direct arm work, a lot of the best arm exercises are compound lifts that target other muscles. For example doing bent over rows and cable pulldowns for your back are great for biceps and forarms. Follow up with some curls and some hammer curls. Hammer and reverse grip curls are great for the brachioradialis which makes up most of the forarm. If you do this you shouldn't need to isolate the brachialis with preacher or concentration curls. Wrist extension and flexation is optional.

For triceps, the pressing lifts that work your chest and shoulders take care of them for the most part. It is good to follow up with an isolation set or 2 though. Try skull crushers or close grip bench press.

Since you are after strength rather then size, you want to follow this protocol. 8 sets of 4 reps close to failure for compound lifts and 3 by 5 for isolation.

Keep in mind that working the whole body will be better then just doing arms.

I have the same problem as you, my dad says all you have to do is lift weights.

I'm going through the same thing

Beat up the annoying kids on your block every day.

Push ups. Start w/ doing a hand full every couple of days. Then work your way untill your doing alot every couple of days. Sooner or later you will be doing 100 a night.. Easy..

In short, use the muscles you wish to develop more often. For instance, archery develops your arm muscles a lot and you get to have some fun. Or you could do some old fashion weight lifting/working out.

Steroids, Steroids and MORE STEROIDS! AHHHH! take as much as you can get your hands onto while lifting ridiculous ammounts of weight and you will be huge! also eat mass ammounts of meat or anything with a lot of protein and a couple shots of pure testosterone a week. YOU'LL BE HUGE IN NO TIME!

anyone who is huge can tell you that!

Depends on what specific muscles you are talking about, but weightlifting is a general answer. Most people like "toning" their biceps and triceps, in which they make their arms look more impressive without actually strengthening them all that much (Hypertrophy). Strength, endurance, and power lifting exist as well. Bicep curls are relatively simple and if you are really looking for strengthening your biceps you should find a dumbell that you can curl for 3-4 sets consisting of 6-8 curls. tricep curls should be treated in the same manner. About one minute should pass in between each one of your sets. Lat pulls, shoulder raises, and good old bench are also good.
