i don't know, what would anyone say is the best kind of tooth brush?

I have a Soniccare but I must say I have a hard time getting used to it. I like the rotary powered ones that I seem to keep buying.

Here is what been told to me: All toothbrushes can get old after time used so your best bet is to replace your toothbrush after 1 month. But generally if you notice crud on it and the bristles seem frail and look like they are falling off the head, replace sooner. One should use an electric spintype toothbrush during the day to kill plaque on the surface of the teeth since the sediment from the night before has remained dormaint from acid buildup. Also, as recommended use, one should always floss in between brushing and use mouthwash as necessary. The best mouthwash to use that kills bacteria. Never use too much Listerine since that contains alcohol and can in turn create the teeth to look burned at the gums. The non-alcohol ones contain a natural enzyme that keeps infections to a minimum. Also, a regular standard toothbrush for evening bedtime use is helpful. For best results, you can use both but be careful the length for each. Generally if using the electric spinbrush 30 seconds to a minute on the whole surface of the teeth is good. Be sure to use plain water for rinsing the mouth out. The use of water is a natural diretic, so rinse like that of mouthwash for a recommended 1 minute. Then go over the teeth with a piece of dental floss. What this does is messages the gums anad loosens plaque buildup in between the areas of the gum and teeth crown. A regular toothbrush can always be used by itself to pick up the loose sediment but generally the use of both is best to keep sediment from reproducing faster. You will notice too, by doing so, your teeth will look whiter and feel more refreshed.
