I grave something sweet after I eat a meal.. except for breakfast. I am really trying to watch my weight.?

Question:
Is there anything I can do to make that change? Sugar free candy just does not do the job either. any suggestions?

Answers:
Eat some fruit at the end of your meal.

Other Answers:
Those cravings are all in your head. Eat some fruit or just get over it cold turkey. You don't need it, you just think you do.

It is not in your head! Refined sugars are chemically addictive. If you really want to lose weight the quickest way is to watch your sugar intake. I too need a sweet fix after most meals. Instead of going for a refined sugar I substitute with natural sugars. I love to end a meal with raspberries and blueberries in plain yogurt. Or, try throwing a banana with some berries and juice into a blender. The smoothie idea is great year round cause it is still yummy with frozen fruit. Or if chocolate is your thing (your a woman right) use chocolate syrup on fresh fruit. The syrup has surprisingly low calories. Don't deny your cravings because they will just get stronger until you finally give in and eat a pint of Ben and Jerry's. (I know I have been there, New York Super Fudge Chunk.mmmm) Chose your deserts wisely, and celebrate them like you would chocolate cake. Your craving will never know you have gotten smarter, just your waistline!
