I appreciate that you have also wondered whether asking make you an idiot. Before i say much we should appreciate that we are made differently. There are those who think that they know it all and ends up displaying FOOLISHNESS. Asking questions whether at yahoo or any other places makes you a better person. Education DOES not end but we learn in order to improve on where we are no sure or don't know.
A person asks because that person does not know the answer and if that person gets the answer to the question, that person ADDS wisdom to his/her LIFE.
So i will rate you as WISE person because you want to know that which you don't know. Keep learning my Friend!

In my own words, no. You are just curious about the world around you. You are also being sociable because you're asking questions and sharing your thoughts. I don't know if it makes sense but in fact, you're smart because you're asking a question like this that makes my brain ache!
