make-up tips?

Question:
I am 14 & need tips

Answers:
With any young girl make-up is a subject we often want to avoid until you're well, grown. I personally think at age 14 eyes and lips should be the only areas emphasized. With Lips, light colors and glosses are the most appropriate. As far as your eyes go, use soft hues, single color applications, and shimmer on the eye lids. When it comes to mascaras & liners, a little dab will do ya. No witches needed at that age:)

go to covergirl.com and or http://www.teenmag.com/

At any age using too much makeup is bad.

I would find a powder that matches your skin tone perfectly and go from there. If you think your best feature is your eyes, play them up by putting the emphasis there instead of your mouth. Same with if you think you mouth is your best feature. Use nuetral tones. I know that lots of color is in and used in the right way they can be great. Since you are so young and you are new to the makeup world I would find nuetral lipsticks that match your coloring and use black mascara and lighter colors on your eyes. If you use eyeliner go with a pencil and try not to make 'hard lines' - the key is blending.

If you use base, go around the edge of your face to make sure you don't have a line there. If you have the tendancy to get lipstick on your teeth, don't wear lipgloss.

Hope this helps!

Go to Sephora.com and sign up on their mailing list and you'll get their magazine with a bunch of great looks and how to get them. They have morning, daytime and evening looks. You can also go to covergirl.com and kohls.com (for the flirt cosmetics) and get great info there as well. Good luck!

Start by Mineral Makeup because they are pure and will not ruin your skin. Majority of mineral makeups are expensive, but after searching hi and lo, I found Everyday Minerals at everydayminerals.com. The prices are awesome and the company sends samples for free. You just have to pay $5 for shipping. I am sure you will love them and the best of luck to you.

Start off light. Go get it done at a beauty place in the mall for specifics but I would use natural shades like peach and pinks to make it look really pretty
