Are there any home remedies that get rid of hideous acne pimples?

Question:
I am a 29 year old African American female with a real bad acne problem and i have tried everything I just want these hideous bumps to leave

Answers:
My old roommate had a bad skin problem and she used to put toothpaste on her pimples be3fore she would go to bed at night. It dried them up and made it better, but she did not get completely rid of her acne until she used Proactive Solutions. It really does work. Best of luck!

Other Answers:
first of all don't squeeze, that will make things worse. secondly, use a mild face soap and toner all over face, with an oil-free moisturizer for dry patches. it will take some time, but that will prevent breakouts now and in the future.

What I reccomend to you, is this "remedy".
Drink lots of water.
Eliminate most of the dairy from you diet.
Eat lots of fruits and vegetables uncooked.

Take niacin, vitamin E, Flax seed Oil, and Evening Primrose oil.

Use Olay's Total Effects with VitaNiacin. Also -- don't wash your face with harsh detergents, or use astringent. That much acne could be an allergic reaction to the chemicals. Use something mild like olive oil soap. Getaguru sells the most wonderful olive oil soap for a dollar an ounce, plus shipping.

If you feel tired, and bad, or if you're overweight, it could be your body's way of releasing toxins. So, drink almost a gallon of water a day. Excercise.

Also, talk to someone at a health food store about doing a colon cleanse, these are herbs that will help flush out the toxins in your body so you won't have as many health problems -- including acne (which is a skin infection).

I always use it when I start to break out, and it makes the acne go away.

If you're still having acne problems, and at your age, after trying these things, go to your doctor and ask for Retina, or Benzaclear, and this can help.
