it shouldn't because of the tooth paste that you use (if you do..) replace it. sometimes you will have mucus build up in your mouth after you have a cold or something over night. and mucus is part of vomit soooooo. just replace the dang thing. lol
If it smells like puke, then my advice for you is to throw that one away and get a new one!! :)
