My husband has the same problem. He is a welder, and it causes repetitive motion in the wrist area. We bought him one of those wrist braces that has a piece of metal in the wrist area that keeps you from moving your wrist at night. It has made a huge difference for him. He wears it every night. If it continues to bother you, go see your doctor. I also experienced some of the same, but I noticed when I am at my desk I rest my arms on the edge of the desk. So I made a conscious effort to stop doing so, and it has helped me.
Poor circulation possibly, the cause diabetes.
It is possible you have a pinched nerve, but if all other prognosis fail, the only sure way of determining if the problem is caused by a pinched nerve is by having an xray of your spine. Also think about if it might be, RSI?
