There is something called "versicolor" which is caused by a fungus.

It could mean a couple of things. I would check with my Dr. first but, it could be just the loss of skin pigments in certain parts of your body.

Check with your doctor, but it could be a condition called vitiligo. My boyfriend has it, its not a threat to your health, just your self-confidence.

could be age spots or that you are getting too much sun.

It could mean a variety of things. Maybe the person was burned, either by chemicals or fire as a child or something.
Maybe they have a huge birthmark that looks like that. Birthmarks can also have effects on the color of your hair. One of my friends has a daughter that has naturally black hair but there is a huge white patch of hair and white skin down the middle of her face(she is black). This is just a birth mark. It could be a number of things. If it is you, and you don't know what it is, go see a dermatologist. If it is someone else, ask them.

I have that, it's nothing serious, it's some skin disorder that starts with a "v". It's no biggie, but those areas will never tan even if the rest of you is getting dark.

Vitaligo is lose of pigment in the skin. Ask your doctor, if it is Vitaligo you can get meds to keep it from spreading.

Sounds like vitiligo. There's not much you can do. I have it. It doesn't hurt anything , it just looks like hell.
Try to accept it. Thats what I'm trying to do
