Since your a vegetarian, you may consume more soy product. Like Tofu,soya milk and beans (for protein). Or you may try some weight gain powders?
Believe me You are a lucky person because you are slim. For gaining some weight "Eat Bananas". Consult a momeo doctor. If you do not have stomach problem than you can gain weight. Take white meat once in a week. Walk on daily basis in the morning will be beneficial.
olives, bananas and avocados are a great source of vegerarian fats. try them.
