What makes your hair stronger? My hair is brittle, and breaks for any little thing!?

I have that problem because I have a thyroid mal-function, so you should see your doctor, just in case. The doctor can help with proper food advise, also.

take lots of vitamins. eat fruits & vegetables, that should help.

Quit using all that styling crap. Wash and condition your hair daily with professional products. (RedKen AllSoft works very well.) Also, use a deep conditioner weekly. Try not to blow dry your hair. If you have to do so, use a leave in conditioner that is especially for heat treated hair. Brush your hair very frequently. This naturally distributes the oils from your scalp and prevents dryness. Also, CUT IT. Cut it at least once a month to trim the dead ends and stimulate growth.

Eat healthier to improve your hair as it grows. To help what's already there, try a stengthening shampoo like Garnier Frutis long and strong.

This may sound crazy, but Pre-Natal Vitamins- even if you are not planning to concieve or are not pregnant, taking these as directed will not hurt you, and they offer you plenty of extra vitamins. These work wonders for your hair, skin, and nails!!

The quickest thing that i started doing is. Tie a scarf around ur head while traveling , basically cover ur hair while traveling, pollution deteriorates the hair quality.

Apart from that have a banana and one tablespoon honey before going to bed on alternate days, your hair will become stronger.

oil them often.You could go for an oil treatment.do it at home by oiling your hair and keeping hot towels on your head for some time and then washing your hair with shampoo and use a conditioner for dry hair even if your shampoo says it has a conditioner in it.

Go to the dollar store,and ask for a conditioner called 'Mane and Tail' it use to be for horses. However to many people started using it because it works as good as anything on the market! Try it, I promise it will work.

Look out in search engines for the minerals that build the hair, when you've got a list, that's your nutrition, I mean your food must contains these minerals. What happen to your hair is due to the loss or the poor in your blood of these minerals, so you've got to power you hair by them.

I have heard of people taking horse vitamins.but you can purchase vitamins that are nearly as potent but less harmful to you.
Also, go to your local beauty supply store (one that if you are not a licensed beautician can purchase from) and buy what is call "Cholesterol". Not the bad stuff you get from eating eggs and things! It is a yellowish cream that you massage into your hair starting from the roots and working to the ends of the hair folicle. Leave it on according to manufacturer's directions. I do for about 20-30 minutes. Rinse out and wash as normal. No need to condition at this time. Do this once a week until you feel your hair getting stronger, then switch to once a month and then to as needed.
If you dye or bleach your hair.HOLD OFF! This can cause major breakage, especially if you have over processed it! Give your hair a breather and time to heal.

PS: trimming your hair to stimulate growth is just an old wives tale, there is really no truth to that. Your hair grows simply as fast as your hair grows. It DOES promote healthier hair though, by removing the damaged ends, but if you care for your hair properly you don't need to worry about damaged ends.

FOR EXAMPLE , WHEN YOU HAVE ACIDITY YOU CAN EAT BAKING SODA AS IT IS A BASE AND WHEN IT REACTS WITH THE ACID THE REACTION IS NEUTRALIZED.
- ALWAYS LOOK FOR PROUDUCTS THAT MATCH YOUR CRITERIA.
- GOOD DIET , (YOU SHOULD ASK THE DOCTOR , FOR THAT , BECAUSE I BET NO ONE HERE CAN HELP YOU WITH THAT UNLESS HE/SHE IS A DOCTOR.)
- IF YOU ARE LIVING IN COLD CLIMATE THEN ALWAYS COVER YOUR HEAD BEFORE GOING OUT.
