I haven't been through pregnancy, but i got some friends who have. It is painful. It varies for people. Some find it imense and some find it like a small headache. If you can, you should use the epidoral.

I would suggest no drugs, Get your breathing techniques down, and appreciate the exact moment when you are in pain and giving birth most women go numb and it happens so fast then you forget. Don't do this Be in the moment. I am saying this because I feel like I missed out because of all the pain. It really does hurt but everyone is different you may not. Anything 's possible. Cherish the moment it is a beautiful thing.

im 18 and had my daughter when i was 17. it hurt me sooo much only because i didnt get the epidural. if you get the epidural you will become completely numb from the waist down, but that only means longer labor because you wont be able to feel yourself pushing.

There is no such thing as easy labor.{sorry}labor can last for only a few hours or it could last a day or two.i understand this is your first baby but keep in mind that the few hours of pains that you have is going to be worth it when you see that little miracle in the end.and congradulations on your pregnancy.treasure each minute with your baby when it is born because they grow up really fast.

It cant be too bad..we continue to do it. I have a 7 year old that weighed 8lbs 11 ounces when he was born. I cant wait to have another one. :)
