Well, first things first. You may need therapy and medication, especially if you want to kill yourself.
Something that you can do at home on your own is this. Everytime you are stressed DO SOMETHING WITH YOUR HANDS that doesn't involve food. Something messy, like painting, or washing the floor, or gardening. You have to reprogram your body to react differently to stress. When your hands are dirty, you won't be able to eat. If you are still stressed out, walk around the block a few times, or run in place.

I see you are speaking metaphorically about death however for your eating problem you definatly need to find therapy. I think you should totally re-evaluate your life and find out those things are that upset and stress you out then change you lifestyle to avoid them circumstances. Beyond that I am of no help as I am not trained in that field.

I think your problem has alot to do with your emotional state.I can really see where you are coming from because I had that problem.Each time you are upset or have a problem instead of facing it you eat until your body feels full this might also have some chemical component just like drug addicts feel good after using drugs..Well when you over eat you feel a sense of accomplishment at the end.you finished eating what is in the plate. Yet after that, you feel fat and your problem is still there and now you feel sad.here is the thing that I do now instead of eat..I run in the threadmill or I listen to music and sing and dance to it..If I just ate and still feel hungry I drink alot of water to fool my stomach to think that it is full..after awhile my body once again learned to know when i was no longer hungry and i could stop eating.remember eat small portions and slowly..it takes the brain 30 mins after the stomach is full to realize that you are no longer hungry..
I agree with the previeous answer you might need profesional help. Proper nutrition is a big start to help you with your problem. Stress is a big factor on emotional eating. Why do we stress? One answer is nutrition! Yes nutrition helped me with panic attacks. Also it sounds like you need some one on one coaching to help motivate you. My coach inspired me in so many ways and she is a friend for life.
