Can you kill my cramps?

Question:
I just showered, so a hot bath is out of the question; I have no meds, I already ate all the chocolate, and I threw away the old heating pad. Any other suggestions?

Answers:
exercise! A good brisk 10k will cure PMS.

The best thing is-go get pills from the drug store. I use Midol PMS and it works wonders for me. Also when my stomach is killing me I lay down in a fetus position, that way my stomach doesn't hurt as bad.

Sounds like your up the creek without a paddle. You should get out and buy some Ibuprofen this is an anti inflamatory which will help the pain. Try a towel dipped in hot water and wrung out and apply to tummy. If you have these every month you should see your doctor as there are many meds used to treat this condition

a cup of hot tea with lil honey and sugar. just lay on the bed or couch with a classical music in the background with the fan going and blinds shut with a dark cover to go over the blinds.. :d good luck!

Like fasb123r said, lying in a fetal position makes your stomach hurt less. For me, lying on my stomach makes my tummy feel better, but I've noticed that it makes the pain excruciating for many others. If possible, get yourself some Midol or Ibuprofen or Advil and take it to ease your cramps. Also, since severe cramps are caused mostly due to clots, here are some things you can do to help dislodge clots:

- Sit on the toilet and strain as though passing a difficult bowel movement. This helps to dislodge cramps and provides great relief.
- Massage your stomach downwards, from navel to lower abdomen.
- Finally, avoid gassy food, too much salt, and caffeine, as these can make your stomach hurt really badly.

Hope you feel better soon!

There are many options for cramps. The best OTC pain medication is naproxen, which is the main ingredient in Aleve. Also, hot tea works wonders, working out, and generally being active is great. If your cramps are so painful that they affect your life, it might be worth talking to an OB/GYN. Many women are put on the pill to help with cramps.

MIDOL ALL THE WAY! works in an hour.

yes

Swimming works really well. I heard that gravity aids cramping and since swimming relieves a lot of that force, and serves as good exercise which I heard also helps, it should be gone in no time. If it takes too long. try venting on a man who deserves it. That I heard works wonders!

advil works, buy a new heating pad. i take a hormone cream called syringa (great stuff!) it reduces PMS, cramps, and even the flow and duration of your period. i don't sell it or anything - i just love it! also a position that works, lay on your stomach with your knee bent up and elevated by a pillow. that will reduce it a lot, even without drugs. or you could sit in the bath or go swimming to eliminate gravity. these are all good tips for the next time you crap also. you can be prepared. have fun.
