running or jogging is probably the best in my opinion, but it's different for different ppl. you should experiment and find out what suits your body the best.

i say running
but you should not worry about how much you are look at i am 10 and i am 48 pounds

It is said that any weight bearing exercise is good, especially walking. Less impact on the knees than running. I've heard swimming is a very good all around exercise, resistance against the water. Skating and skiing burn the calories too.

You'd have to be more specific. There are best exercises for resistance training, best exercises for cardio, best sport-specific exercises, best low-impact, best calorie burners/fat burners. So you really have to specify your goals as there isn't one best exercise for everything.

walking, swimming, bikeriding

for full functional strength, i would say the power clean & press.

Stand holding barbell in front with an over hand grip wider than shoulder width. Bend forward slightly till bar is about knee level.keep lower back tight and straight, never round.

Pull the bar explosively up close to the torso till about chest height, then quickly flip bar over so that it is held at the chest then press to over head position. Lower and return to start position.

quick sprints followed by brief periods of jogging IMO is the best way to build both power & endurance in a very short ammount of time.

For me I'd have to say running. But whatever works best for you is what you should stick to. Try different things.

DEPEND ON YOUR AGE, HEALTH,WEIGHT AND WHAT YOU LIKE TO DO.

IF YOU ARE 6 TO 80 BIKING IS GOOD..

WALKING ,YOGA & TIA CHI IS GOOD FOR JUST ABOUT ANY AGE.

IF YOU ARE OVER WEIGHT RUNNING AND WEIGHTS CAN DO DAMAGE HENCE TRY SWIMMING..

IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR GOAL.. IF YOU WANT PEASE OF MINE DO SOMETHING YOU LIKE..IF YOU LIKE WALKING GO HIKING.

IF YOU LIKE THE SNOW GO DOWN HILL OR CROSS COUNTRY SKIING, TRY SNOW SHOEING OR A REAL WORK OUT TRY DOG SHEDDING..

ONE OF MY HUSBANS EXCERCISE IS CHOPPING FIREWOOD AND IT IS PRODUCTIVE..
ANOTHER MILD ONE IS GARDENING AND IT IS ALSO PRODUCTIVE.
