When I was a little kid I thought there were tiny green men (like 4 inches tall) that lived under my bed. If my foot or hand or anything hung over the side, they would know I was there and climb up and get me. If I moved my body part hanging over even if they where about to get me, they would forget and go back under my bed.

I am afraid of people coming to my house at night. this is really dumb, as i live out in the country, and have a long driveway with a gate. there is no way for people to get in, but i still get nervous

I am terrified of escalators. I feel like I am going to be sucked into the cracks or just tumble down for no reason. I take the elevator whenever I can. I cannot get onto an escalator and hold my children's hands at the same time. When I was little I saw a documentary about how dangerous they were and the number of serious injuries every year. For some strange reason it has stuck with me.
