(sniff) Cold (sniff) Help! (sniff)?

Question:
Any ideas on stopping a cold dead in it's tracks? I've been downing OJ with echinacea and drinking some respiratory teas.

Answers:
You also could try Airborne. It was created by a schoolteacher and it's chock full of good stuff. Also try putting your feet in super warm water to draw the fluid out of your head.

Other Answers:
Go out to Wal-mart or some other pharmacy and buy some Zycam! this stuff is amazing. I had a nasty cold, I started taking it, and two days later, it was completely gone!

I use the nose swabs, because I hate sprays and lozenges.

Zicam, a zinc product, is great for shortening the course of a cold. You can buy it in lozenge and nasal swab form (the nasal spray has been discontinued). The lozenges have a metal aftertaste so you might be happier with the nasal swabs. Zicam usually shortens colds to a 3 day duration.

I'm an R.N. and have used zicam.

ZYCAM is the bomb! My husband had and awful cold about 2 weeks ago, and he was being a big baby about it. I was sooo sure i would end up with the same nasty cold he had. but after taking that zycam, it was gone, and gone REAL FAST! So fast that no one else in the family caught his cold. Go out and buy it NOW!
