go to the doctor

You will want to go to the doctor so that you can get some prescription drops. The over the counter stuff probably isn't strong enough for you or you may even have what is called corneal abrasions. Better get them checked!

Try taking an antihistamine like claritin along with using your drops - works for my allergies

Just about any allergy eye drops. They are kind of expensive but last a very long time and work really well. Over the counter ones work really well for mine when they are making me want to scratch them out of my head. I believe Bosche makes some and Visine. Gets the itch OUT! Benedryl works really well too. Antihistamines work also but make ya tired. If you just have itchy eyes, go for the drops!!

First wash your eyes with only Baby Shampoo, just a little drop in a large cupp of warm water. Take 2 clean face cloths (one for each eye) and gently wash your eyelids and rinse well in very warm water. After you finish and your eylids are clean apply warm soaks to each eye throughout the day, when needed. You are probably allergic to something in the environment so you ust every morning wash your eyelids and you will see a big improvement. You may apply very warm compresses whenever your eyes feel itchy but only use Baby Shampoo once every morning when you wake up. Also Omega 3 diet will help with allergies as it's an anti-inflamatory and Vitamin c 500 mgs to start and then up it to 1000 mg if needed.

I use one or two drops of allergy medicine in each eye once or twice a day. I use over the counter medicine. People with high blood pressure should talk to their doctor about getting prescription for something that does not raise blood pressure like the otc meds do.
