well mostly yes but it does depend on where it is distributed. i am probably about 20-30 over and losing but i dont feel to attractive with a big o gut ha ha.

forty pounds isn't bad, depending on how you carry it. If it's all in one leg it would be terrible. It's really how you feel about it that reflects in your eyes and face, which is why some very overweight people are attracted to some. I personally like very small women as a rule but I do see heavy women that I think are attractive all the time. I don't think they'd believe it if I told them though.

I don't see why it would be. If you are overweight you should consider loosing weight. However, if you fall between the accepted cdc standards, then i don't see why you would be considered 40 pounds over weight.

Just do some minor fitness ect, to tone up some of the loose spots, and be happy :) There is no need to stress your body consistantly with extra fitness, diet pills, ect.

I think a lot of it depends on how you feel. I think that it's all in the attitude. If you let people know you feel unattractive, they'll pick up on it. But if you don't let it get to you, you'll look confident-always a plus!

that depends on how well you carry you're weigh but it could lead to more weight gain. so best to start losing now.

nope! what make you look unatractive is the way you project yourself to other people, and also where are the 40 pounds. I've seen women and men who are more than 40 pounds overweight and look great, as i've also seen people in the line who do not look as good. I myself am about 60 or more pounds overweight and i wish you could see me. I am of full figure naturally and tall but sometimes i ask myself where the hell is all that weight ? LOL
I think that if you feel uncomfortable with your extra pound you should try to eat healthy and take a 30 min. walk in the evenings if you can.

If you are asking in regards to health, the answer is a most definite yes. But in regards to dating, there are men that find women that are slightly to significantly overweight "attractive". All men are visually stimulated. They seek "attractive" women who in turn find them "attractive". However, an overweight woman in the modern dating scene must be at all times careful to avoid "predators" that seek out overweight women that they perceive as "vunerable". But take heart that there are socially healthy men that seek out and fall in love with "overweight" women for their character, interests and appearance. In the language of my teenage son, if "she's got it going on" it shows. A combination of generally good health, fashion and class will enhance any woman's appearance. Oh yes, don't forget to use the greatly under-rated "secret weapon", a "comely smile".

Who says you are overweight? The scales that most doctors use would tell you that a model weighing 102 and being 5'11 would be normal. Weight is all a matter of time. Several hundred years ago you would be too thin to be attractive. Someone told me that Marilyn Monroe wore a size 14 and it wasn't until Twiggy that having your ribs showing became "attractive". If you feel good and are happy then weight is just another worthless number. "Fat" people that exercise regularly are healthier than skinny people who don't. A REAL woman is worth her weight in trophy wives.
