Is it good to be a vegetarian ??

Question:
I am thinking to be a vegetarian. Is it good to be a vegetarian ? And which one is better, start to reduce eating meat, or just stop eating meat, as soon as i decide to be a vegetarian ? And how to gain the protein if i don't eat meat ? Thanks

Answers:
If you are very much over weight, I would think vegetarian diet is the best choice for you because you can help your body reduce the fat that make you over weight. But if you are not over weight or under weight, then eating a combined meat and vegetarian diet is more ideal for you.On the other hand, if you are ok with your weight but having heart or other health problems like high cholestrol and so on. then you should eat more vegetable and fruits but cut down on red meat, white meat without the fat can be eaten in moderation to provide the protein your body needs.

well it is good in some ways and bad

I know a lot of vegetarians who are very happy with their choice. I tried it and couldn't make it work for me. There are a lot of non-flesh sources of protein.

you can eat meat just a little and should in balance diet.

hey sure it is not a promlem

i think it is, i felt alot healthier, just be careful befor you do it. check with your dr or nutritionist, i ended up getting gum deasise because i depleted myself of certain vitamins

Not quite because you will lack in vitamins and mineral that is essential to our body. E.g vitamin B12 that is important in renewing blood cells. but its not wrong to be a vegetarian. there is always the over the counter multivitamins supplement anyway.

Yes. Beans have protein equivalent to meat, and so do other veggies.

Yes becuse its healthy!!

It is good to be a vegetarian.Lot of protiens available in vegetables. You will become peaceful and calm after becomeing a vegetarian

its good to be an vegetarian , u can reduce eating meat.need not stop it completly. as far as question of gaining the protein all the pulses have protein in it. you will gain all necessary vitamin & minerals through a complele balanced vegetarian diet

Why are you thinking of being a vegetarian?
I can't exactly say if it's good or not. But I'm kind of a vegetarian. I decided to eat little meat because I was concerned about my health. Now I rarely eat meat, probably like once a week, or could even be once a month. If I'd be eating, I choose chicken. Normally I consume dairy products such as milk, eggs, yoghurt, and cheese. I also have a lot of soy products like soy milk and tofu. If you're skipping meat, like regular meat, then you can eat seafood. Shrimps, fish etc contain protain.

Though I don't think people should be vegetarian, I think if you do, don't get carried away.
As for the protein issue, peanut butter has protein.

Yes. There are a few different types of vegans. Choose one.
Be careful that you do not compromise you health because of lack of knowledge. Make sure you get protein and sometimes you might have to combine different types of proteins. Make sure you get your calcium, your vitamins.

I would suggest a nutritionist for councilling.
You can get your protein from beans, tofus, yogurts

I'm not particularly sure, but I think its okay, vegitables contain a lot! I mean, Daniel (in the Bible) ate vegitabels (and water, only) for 10 days and he was by far better looking than those other who ate other stuff (mean, wine, etc.!

amazing- ou know eating vege food prevent depression and negativity

it's very healthy. But you should eat beans because they have the necesary proteins that meat has and your body really needs it.U will have a great body,no more zits and you will feel active all the time.It doesn't harm you with nothing.

yes and no. veggies and fruits are very healthy and contain lots of vitamins and minerals that you really need for your body, but meat also has nutrients that u REALLY need. so: you have to take some vitamin suplement that contain this things u need you have to go and ask a doctor or a nutritionist to see which suplements are recomended and fulfill these needs ..

alinne

I'm not a vegetarian because I love animals. I'm a vegetarian because I hate plants.
