What can I say to my doctor so he will prescribe me some nerve medication?

Question:
If anybody needs a pill to help your nerves its me. I know people who get them and abuse them, and I know people who receive them but they really could do without them. I donot abuse them, I only take them 3 or 4 times a week when I'am at the end if my role and shaking like a leaf. Any Advice would be appreciated.

Answers:
Get a new doctor! Some will flat out not prescribe benzos. I know doctors who won't give out pain medication. That would be my advise.

Other Answers:
Just talk to your doctor about your medical issues and he will prescribe anything you need.

if this is true, tell your doctor, he'll prescribe an anti-depressant.. Helps great with anxiety. You'll need to take it everyday. 3 or 4 times a week for those symptoms is too often

DO NOT do that ! Why would u want to take it ? U r already ruining ur nervous system by taking it so frequently ! Depending on ur age, u might get beyond the point of rehabilitation soon. But if u must, Tell him u can't sleep. as simple as that. tell him u stay up all night thinking about all kinds of things, and as a result, u walk around like a zombie the next day.

Have your family doctor refer you to a psychiatrist and explain to the psych or therapist about your nerves. And, just for your info, i used to take ativan an overdosed, so be careful and take as prescribed. Good luck!

Anxiety Suffers yes Valium and xanex one or the other will stop the nerve stuff and you 20 minutes feel like a new person

Be honest with your doctor and epxplainto him your symptoms.he will prexscribe what you need.

I suppose if you tell the doctor he will give you some medication. The issue is that the drugs will simply deal with the symptoms and not the problem. I think what you really need to do is see what makes you shake like a leaf. Find someone to talk to. Discuss your problems. I know its easier sead than done but try it. Here's a story that might give you some strength. Take care!! :)
A group of women were studying a religious text. A verse said, "He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver,” puzzled them and they wondered what this statement meant about the nature of God. One woman offered to find out about the process of refining silver and report back at their next session.

That week the woman watched a silversmith at work. He held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest so as to burn away all the impurities.

The woman thought about how God holds us in similar “hot spots.” She thought about the phrase he "sits as a refiner and purifier of silver." She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined. The man answered that indeed, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. Silver left even a moment too long in the flames would be destroyed.

The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked, "How do you know when the silver is fully refined?" He smiled at her and answered, "Oh, that's easy! When I see my image in it."

Some of us encounter economic difficulties; health challenges; or the death of a beloved relative or friend. If today you are feeling the heat of the fire, remember that you are in God's hand. He has His eye on you. He will not let you be destroyed, and He will keep holding you and watching you until He sees His image in you.

God bless you
